Purpose of the role 

To effectively managed, coordinate and maintain all electrical infrastructure to ensure efficient operations of the premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting electrical installations and construction projects.
• Adhere to the relevant electrical codes, procedures & safety policies.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.
• Providing technical support to colleagues and clients.
• Maintain and repair electrical motors and equipment.
• Maintain company housekeeping standards during daily plant operations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

• Grade 12 or N3 equivalent.
• Electrical qualification (NQF 4), Electrician Trade Test Certificate.
• Wireman’s Licence.
• Proof of registration with the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).
• 3-5 years working experience in electrical installation and completion of Certificate of Compliance (COC).
• Other qualifications include HV Switching tickets, Bobcat, HR Licence, EWP, Forklift, Excavator, and S1, S2, S3 certifications
• Computer Literate (Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Experience working at heights.
