Purpose of the role
To plan, manage, and execute statistical deliverables in clinical trial and non-trial activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and provide statistical input to required documents and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives, prioritize and manage clinical trials and submissions within the project area.
- Mentor and develop successors, ensuring understanding among colleagues relevant for problem-solving.
- Take full responsibility for statistical methodology and deliverables within the project, acting as the main contact for stakeholders regarding statistics.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- MSc in Statistics or equivalent qualification.
- Over 3 years of experience as a statistician within the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of biostatistical methods and practical applications within drug development.
- Proficiency in statistical software and IT systems, with experience in at least one statistical software package.
- Familiarity with GCP and statistical guidelines in drug development.
- Experience communicating statistical issues effectively and presenting findings.
