Purpose of the role
To design and lead the implementation of solutions and capability architecture, aligning technical direction with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain architecture and design for specific business functional/technical areas.
- Design end-to-end solutions and manage cross-domain integration and APIs.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Educate and guide customers on best practices for cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Architecture certification; an MBA is preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in multiple IT disciplines including development, hardware, analysis, design, service management, and architecture.
- 5–7 years’ experience as an architect across various domains.
- Extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD.
Competencies (Skills, Behaviour & Knowledge)
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in cloud computing, integration APIs, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to manage technical debt and technology obsolescence.
